OUR STORY

I grew up in Colombia's Eje Cafetero, a region where coffee production is central to daily life and culture. Offering coffee to guests is a standard practice there, a gesture of hospitality that I took for granted until moving to the United States.

After relocating, I found it difficult to maintain the coffee habits I'd grown up with. My husband, who wasn't a coffee drinker initially, began to share my interest as I taught him about brewing methods, bean selection, and flavor profiles. Despite exploring numerous brands, we consistently found that most available options were blends or dark roasts that didn't align with our preferences for single-origin, lighter roasted coffees.

This search led us to study coffee more seriously, its cultivation, processing methods, and supply chains. What began as a personal pursuit developed into a business concept: sourcing and roasting high-quality, specialty-grade Colombian coffee for customers who value transparency and quality.

Our Method

We work directly with small-scale Colombian farms that practice sustainable cultivation. Coffee is selectively handpicked and sorted to ensure only ripe cherries are processed. Our roasting approach emphasizes the inherent characteristics of each bean, acidity, sweetness, and clarity, rather than applying uniform heat profiles that mask origin-specific qualities.

Our Commitment

Each product we offer is traceable to its source and represents the work of specific farmers and communities. Our objective is to provide access to genuine specialty Colombian coffee while maintaining transparency about sourcing and production methods.
